The lake which has an elevation of 1,000 feet, is nine miles in length, one to three miles in width and has a shore line of forty-five miles. It is on the C.R.R. of N.J. and main line of the D.L.&W. R.R. Numerous first class hotels and boarding houses furnish accommodations. This section is of great historic interest and is considered one of the finest natural resorts. July 7, 1938.
