The Wick House, Morristown National Historical Park, Morristown, N.J. This typical northern New Jersey farmhouse, located in Jockey Hollow, was built about 1750 by Henry Wick. It was here, during the bitter Revolutionary War winter of 1779-80, that Tempe Wick hid her pet horse from confiscation by Washington's troops.
