Washington's Headquarters 1779-1780, Morristown National Historical Park, Morristown, N.J. This mansion built in 1772-1774 by Col. Jacob Ford Jr. was the home of General and Mrs. Washington from December 1779 to June 1780. A modern historical museum containing Revolutionary War objects is located on the grounds.
