George Washington Bridge, View from Fort Lee, N.J. Stupendous structure of steel stretches across the Hudson River from 178th St. Manhattan, to Fort Lee, N.J. The structure is the longest suspension span in the world, being 3,568 feet long, and cost over $60,000,000 to construct.

The Kingsland House, property of Fairleigh Dickinson University, Rutherford, N.J. One of the oldest houses in New Jersey on the way of an old Indian trail. General George Washington rested here on his retrun from Newburgh to Princeton in August 1783.

The Outwater House, property of Fairleigh Dickinson University, Rutherford, N.J. This house was built by Richard Outwater, son of a Revolutionary War Hero, in 1821. It was removed from Hackensack Street, East Rutherford, in 1956. The original unit, in which Ackerman lived, was built about 1745 by Cornelius Van Vorst, and was later destroyed.
